“Explore those places that’s just a drive from you, don’t miss it out because it’s just there. At the same time, spend a quality moments to the people who matters.”
After two weeks of postponing the plan due to our schedules, finally we’re on the road starting our adventures in this country, the UAE — Al Ain, here we come. There are buses to Al Ain from Abu Dhabi city but to the peak… you need your own ride. We rented a twelve seater van, and there were only 4 of us, so it was a comfy trip. We brought a packed lunch, chips and drinks. We were just so prepared and so we don’t have to look for stores or mall on this road trip. So here we go… PS: Most of the photographs were captured by our chinita friend, M.Lim, and hmmm, myself.
In Motion, captured from the Van.

– JEBEL HAFEET –
I’ve seen mountains, went up hill and this, is a totally different one. Wow! He’s an amazing artist and builder at all times!
When we arrived the sun was starting to be fierce, but surprisingly it was still a bit chilly at the top, to think we arrived almost lunch time. It was suggested to go here in the evening the view is beautiful as what they said, but it was stunning still in daylight. It was quiet. According to the driver… during Fridays and holidays, the road is packed. Stopping on the road side is almost impossible specially during sunsets. So we went on the right day and time, the road was almost ours.
There’s store at the top for snacks, chips and drinks. The restaurant opens only in the evening. We were lucky that we brought lunch, the restaurant was closed so we were not charged using their space.
There’s a park at the bottom, incase you have mat for a picnic after the stroll at the top. There’s also a campsite if you planned for an overnight.
– AL AIN ZOO –
It was still early to head home, so we dropped by to see our friendsters. It was quite warm on this side but we enjoyed. The zoo access includes a one-time tram ride, quick yet fun. You can explore on your own, relax on the lawn. The zoo, it is huge! here’s their website, you can check it out: alainzoo.ae.
Biggest thanks to Kuya Jay, he had the biggest share on this trip, it was his initial plan. Looking forward for another adventures in UAE this coming winter.
